Digital Mark Reader is an application that enable simple document scanner to process examination and questionnaire forms automatically and transfer the results into database, text files or Microsoft Excel files.
Digital Mark Reader has processed millions of examination forms including mass processing of complicated psychological test with high accuracy and reliability. It can read bubble mark, V-mark or cross marks (X).
Digital Mark Reader reads mark created by pencil, pen or other black maker. It can read marks from printed or copied paper forms, color or back and white, produced by computer printer or offset print machine. The other advantages is DMR does not need an installation procedures, just plug the DMR USB Drive (2 GB) into computer or laptop's USB port and start from there.
Digital Mark Reader comes with a handful of adjustment technique to handle common mistakes in printing process. It can be applied to all sheets or just to some of the erroneously printed forms, without re-scanning. No need for more expensive precision printing services.
Digital Mark Reader professional consists of Digital Mark Reader Editor and Digital Mark Reader Extractor. The editor is used to create and print a form design just by click and drag various predefined object to the drawing area. No programming capabilities required to design the forms. The extractor is used to scan the sheets, create images and extract the data out of it and process the data for scoring. It can export the data in raw format to or from a custom query, and save them in txt, database or MS Excel files.
